Devlog #1: Introduction to our new project!

Welcome to our first devlog for this new project from Crash76! We’re a two-person team working on a 2-player game inspired by Tetris VS mode. The goal is to clear your own field while “attacking” your opponent by sending them garbage blocks, which appear when you stack pieces in certain ways.

The main feature we’re excited about is a portal ability: each player can use their mouse to place portals on either of the two fields. These portals let you move pieces through them, allowing for new strategies and creative plays!

Here’s a quick doodle to show how it might work:

Right now, we’re working on the pieces and the game field, and making it possible for players to host and join games. Soon, we’ll start putting everything together — first as a regular Tetris game, then adding VS mode and portals.

We’re sure it’s going to be a lot of fun, so stay tuned if you’re interested in the idea!
